I've kept my Enchantress alive in 135+ with the all skills relic because of the damage reduction from Enforcer. You want to give them a bunch of life regen and life on hit rolls so they can actually recover when they get hit. They have very little base regen so if you give them huge toughness but no regen, eventually they'll die anyway because they can't recover the HP they've lost. You need to stack regen too, especially for the Enchantress and Scoundrel. Gizzard does not, unfortunately.Īlso if you want to try this, don't just stack toughness.
The Mutilation Guard and Esoteric gems also work on your follower (note: when they are wearing them, not when you are). Any build with an Enforcer gem has a follower that's 10x tankier. It turns out that the 90% damage reduction from the level 25 effect on the Enforcer gem applies to your follower (note: when you are wearing it, not when they are). It's way easier with pet builds if you are wearing the Enforcer gem.
